FRC gives an annual briefing at the LegCo Panel on Financial Affairs

Dr Kelvin Wong, Chairman and Ms Wincey Lam, Acting CEO of Financial Reporting Council gave a briefing on FRC’s work progress and achievements of 2018 to Members of the LegCo Panel on Financial Affairs on 6 May 2019.   Speaking at the Panel, Dr Wong shared that 2018 was a challenging year in which the FRC had been able to complete a record number of investigations and enquiries, conducted a good number of outreach activities in relation to the auditor regulatory reform and strengthened collaboration with other regulators in Hong Kong, the Mainland as well as in the international arena.
